Jim Miller, is a native of Cedar Rapids and a graduate of Jefferson High School, where under the leadership of Bob Geuder, Jim Erbe, and Mike Peitz, he served as Thespian Troupe 561 President during his theater years. From 1995-2004, Jim was the founder and owner of Center Stage, designing and providing costumes for schools and theaters throughout the Midwest and nationally. For the past 20 years, he has served in senior leadership roles with arts, culture and community development nonprofit organizations, including the Historic Valley Junction Foundation, National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library, CSPS Hall, Main Street America and The District: Czech Village & New Bohemia. He currently serves as Vice President of Development for Horizons, A Family Service Alliance, where he is helping to steer a $5.5M capital campaign, along with leading development, fundraising, communications and marketing initiatives.
