“I grew up attending Playtime Poppy shows across the Cedar Rapids area with my mom and grandma. Playtime Poppy was my first exposure to theatre as a child and its impact on my future passions cannot be overstated! I learned that I loved storytelling, music, and performing all though Playtime Poppy, and it encouraged me to pursue these topics in my community, at school, and even in higher education. I am proud to be part of an organization that prioritizes arts education for our community and connects to my passion for sharing theatre with younger generations.”
